- Hootsuite – offers a free account that’s perfect for most online business companies. It allows you to manage multiple Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other accounts from one dashboard. You can track account activities and create analytical reports to prove your social ROI. Other features include the ability to share your workload amongst teams, departments or regions. You can assign tasks, receive real-time notifications and have internal conversations right from the dashboard.
- Buffer – at this time only integrates with Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google+ pages, but it allows you to optimize your updates by scheduling them and spreading them out throughout the day. The newest version of the iOS app allows for sharing and scheduling from inside other popular apps like Safari. Find an awesome link in your browser? Share it to Buffer without ever leaving the app.
- IFTTT (If This Then That) connects two services together so that an action from one service triggers an action at another. You can have an email trigger a tweet or a Facebook post trigger a tweet. You would obtain an account and start connecting the various channels such as Facebook and email (there are over 100 channels in all). You can start and stop services at any time. IFTTT comes with built in “recipes” or you can customize your own to trigger a post pending a specified action.
- Cyfe – this is a great business analytics tool that connects all your online activities (not just social media). Their tools include widgets for advertising, blogging, email, monitoring, sales and finance, SEO, Social Media and Web analytics. Each of these widgets supports different services that you can sync with. For example Sales and Finance will allow you to add PayPal, Freshbooks, Xero. You can add all major social media platforms as well as add a competitor Dashboard which allows you to monitor their SEO and Social Medai growth using widgets.
